A7X Live Review From Denver

Posted on JUNE 7, 2017 inMusic

I'll never forget the night Avenged Sevenfold opened for Metallica in Denver. It was pouring rain, but the energy in the stadium was electric. I was already excited to see Metallica, but I have to say, Avenged Sevenfold completely stole the show.

As soon as they hit the stage, the crowd erupted. The rain didn't even seem to phase them - they were on fire from start to finish. The sound was powerful and tight, and every member of the band was giving it their all. I was particularly impressed by their lead guitarist, Synyster Gates, who shredded solos that left everyone in the crowd in awe.

And let's talk about Brooks Wackerman's drumming. I was initially unsure about the change in drummers, but Brooks completely exceeded my expectations. His energy and precision were just unmatched. It was a true treat to see him perform live.

By the end of their set, the entire stadium was chanting for more. Avenged Sevenfold had won over a crowd full of Metallica fans, which is no small feat. It was the perfect warm-up for the main event, and I left the stadium that night feeling blown away by their performance.

Overall, it was an unforgettable night of metal, rain, and pure adrenaline. I'm so grateful to have had the chance to see Avenged Sevenfold and Metallica on the same stage, and I'm already counting down to their next tour.
